# Salvage Works

**Portland, OR**

Salvage Works sells reclaimed wood from deconstructed houses, barns and other structures from the Pacific Northwest. We mill WOW wall cladding, as well as sell salvaged slab from urban cut trees. We have a wood shop where we build custom made, heirloom quality furniture. We serve interior designers, contractors and the public.

Preston was formally trained in antique conservation and has worked as a finish carpenter, furniture maker and deconstructionist. Rachel spent most of her career in commercial construction. Together, they have created the premier reclaimed wood business open to the public. Their commitment is to local, heritage material that retains its character and history." — Rachel Browning
